Total Cost: $-

Overview

This free online planner helps gardeners and landscapers estimate how many plants they can fit in a given area and what the total cost will be.

Formula

We compute:

$$ \text{Number of Plants} = \frac{\text{Garden Area}}{\text{Spacing per Plant}} $$

$$ \text{Total Cost} = \text{Number of Plants} \times \text{Cost per Plant} $$

Example

  • Garden Area: 100 m²
  • Spacing: 2 m² per plant → 50 plants
  • Cost per plant: €2 → Total = €100

Frequently Asked Questions

Use an average spacing value; this gives an approximate plant count.

Can I plan multiple sections?

Yes—enter the combined area or plan each section separately and sum the totals.

How accurate is this estimate?
